Throughout my life I have brought people together in ways that promote healing and a more just and sustainable world.  I'm good at this, and I find it incredibly satisfying and fun work.

I am founder of  the Integrative Medicine Alliance, a nonprofit network that builds bridges between conventional and alternative healthcare in New England.  Through this work,   I have learned the ins and outs of America's holistic health sector.

Over the years, I have worked in the fields of integrative healthcare, community development, education, international security, and the environment. 

My current vocation is as President of  Whole Health Solutions, LLC, a venture that builds bridges between conventional medicine and whole health, and which provides professional development, small business coaching, and consulting services to integrative and holistic caregivers.

Since 1998 I have also worked as Harvard University Health Services' shiatsu therapist, and maintain a small private practice specializing in prenatal and postnatal shiatsu care.

I live in Providence, Rhode Island with my wife Annie Gjelsvik and daughter Astrid.
